Hello!
So you want to know more ...
Keep reading if you dare!
I keep discovering new people and places with and in which to nourish fulfilling artistic relationships.
So, I'm deciding to grow my skills rather than to narrow them to turn into the copy-and-paste candidate large companies look for. Will that mean I'm overlooked for certain roles? Maybe. Thus, I'm working to intentionally connect with people who share my values and will challenge the quality and reach of my skillset.
At the moment, the things I most enjoy (in no particular order) are:
-
Reducing artists' administrative load so they can focus on their craft;
-
Creating and programming local events;
-
Collaborating with and supporting the blooming careers of fellow emerging artists;
-
Enriching my knowledge of art song.
Within and between my past and present interests, I trust you can derive qualities central to myself as a person, creative, and professional: I am driven by the need to curate and inspire collaborative, creative, community spaces by maintaining the minutiae. I want to start projects with you, drum up an audience, and comprise strong outcome reports so we can safely move onto the next thing with documentation of the previous one. Along the way, I will make sure we accomplish everything we set out to conquer. If we can't, I'm going to keep detailed notes of our shortcomings to give the next artist a leg-up.
That's a lot, I know. Lord forbid a fella be complex, multifaceted, and hesitant to be summed up in algorithmic buzzwords! For an attempt, however, take a peek at my resume on the next page.
